Nice to meet you...
This is me, Laura (she/her), in between massages at the treatment room catching a quiet moment.
I've always loved massage - any and every holiday or trip away you can find me searching for the spa, or asking for vouchers for birthdays and Christmas. Along with being a long time ASMR consumer (those tingly YouTube videos of someone brushing your hair or speaking softly), I think I have a pretty good idea of the elements needed to achieve the perfect relaxing massage treatment.
For most of my previous career I worked for technology companies in operations roles, but the highlight of my month was arranging a wonderful local massage therapist to visit and give everyone their own 15 minutes of magical relaxation. So amidst a lot of uncertainty when the pandemic coincided with my second round of maternity leave, it seemed like the natural thing to do to retrain and start my own business to try and make others feel the same way.
Self care and mental wellbeing has never been more important than it is today. We spend so much of our time giving and providing for others, and I feel passionate about helping others, particularly women and members of the LGBTQ+ community, feel good about themselves.

Training and Insurance
I am fully qualified in body massage (VTCT), including pregnancy massage and deep tissue massage, and am a Professional Member of the CThA, who provide my professional indemnity insurance and offer professional guidance. Reverie Massage Therapy is also listed in their online therapy directory, Embody (linked below).
I'm always looking for new ways to improve my skills or to add new treatments to the list - if there's a treatment you'd love to see me offer, let me know!
Neal's Yard Remedies Organic
You may spot a few beautiful blue glass bottles around the treatment room. I've long been a fan of Neal's Yard wonderful organic products - from stretch mark cream during my pregnancy days, to luxurious skincare, and more recently the amazing one pot wonder beauty balm.
I became a NYRO Independent Consultant in 2021 during lockdown - mainly to keep myself stocked up on products. If you don't know much about them as a company, do look them up. Their ethics and views on sustainability alone are enough for me, let alone how lovely the products are.
I'm no sales person, I just really love the stuff. However if you would like to order anything, you're welcome to do so through me, from which I earn a small commission.
Sharing is caring
My treatment room is right across the hallway from another wonderful therapist - Ginger & Brown Holistic Therapies.
Aimee is brilliant and offers a range of therapeutic treatments - from foot and facial reflexology to chemical heel peels - please check her out as well!
If you're looking for a treatment that I don't offer, please ask! I can more than likely point you in the direction of another local business that will be able to help.
